The Ten Watches I Would Buy If I Won the Lottery Tomorrow
Share

A few days ago I filled you in on the watches that have been stuck in my mind, and that I may want to find a way to pick up over the next year (Part 1, Part 2). I truly love every watch on that list, but the truth is, the watches that made up that list are all, more or less, watches that I could be in a position to own in the next year or so — they are the real world version of the answer to the question, “What’s next?”

But what if I didn’t have to play this game with any sort of financial constraint? What if I were to, say, win a multi-billion dollar lottery jackpot? What watches would I buy then?

I don’t know if anyone else has noticed this, but it seems like the lottery has been getting out of hand the last few years (I’m not… read more here). As potential lottery earnings seem to climb higher and higher, the idea of winning a monstrous jackpot is a pretty nice one.

Now obviously, it is highly unlikely that any of us will actually win a monstrous jackpot off a two-dollar ticket bought at a convenience store, but the dream is nice. Besides, have you ever sat around with some friends and had someone ask the question, “What would you do if you won the lottery?”

Of course you have. We all have, and it’s a fun hypothetical, to be sure. So that’s what this is. A fun hypothetical. An answer to the question, “What watches would I buy if I won the lottery tomorrow?”
